Top 10 Most Bible Verses


1. John 3:16
John 3:16 is one of the most widely quoted verses from the Christian Bible, and has been called the most famous Bible verse. It has also been called the “Gospel in a nutshell” because it is considered a summary of the central dogma of traditional Christianity. The text of the verse is incorporated into the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, the fourth century archbishop of Constantinople, as part of a prayer said by the celebrant. This Divine Liturgy is still commonly used in the Eastern Orthodox Church and in theByzantine rite of the Roman Catholic Church.

2.Philippians 4:6-7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heartsand your minds in Christ Jesus.”
It’s a common thing to worry, but we need to not let it cover our lives. We have a God who is there for us, who answers our prayers, and wants to hear from us in our times of need. When we get anxious about something and not give it to God, what we’re saying is,m “I have more faith in myself to get through this than I do in God to help me through it.” You may not think or feel that way, but that’s what your lack of action is saying. God is there for you. He wants to help, but He isn’t a God who throws Himself into a situation you don’t want Him in. He’ll wait for you to come to Him and ask.(via)


3.Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
Much of the wisdom of Proverbs is directed to the young man. The oft repeated “my son” phrase sets the context for what follows. The picture is of a father offering wise advice to the son. The father warns about those things in life such as wine, sensual pleasure, and evil companions that can hinder the boy from the desired goals. In the passage above he points him toward the Lord. 4.Philippians 4:8
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
The plain sense of this verse in isolation tells us quite simply that we should think about that which is true, honorable, just, pure, pleasing, commendable and worthy of praise. Seems simple enough. Don’t turn your mind to evil things – think only of what is right and good. A pure mind leads to a pure heart and a pure body. It’s a simple exhortation about walking the right path and being good people. That’s awonderful message to send others.

5.Genesis 1:1
God creates this earth and its heaven and all forms of life in six days—The creative acts of each day are described—God creates man, both male and female, in his own image—Man is given dominion over all things and is commanded to multiply and fill the earth.

6.Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

7.Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

8.Ephesians 2:8-10
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—  not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

9.Matthew 6:33-34
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

10.Philippians 4:11-13
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.  I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.  I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
