A 45 year old farmer was woken up at around midnight when he heard his donkey making uneasy and wild brays. At first he thought it was a thief who had attacked some of his domestic animals.

He was greeted by the sight of a man who was pants down mounting on one of his donkey. Angered by the beastly act James Mwaura Muchiri hit the man but was overpowered by the rapist who hit him on the head with a rungu.

Sub consciously Muchiri declared that he heard the man ask him why he was fighting with an officer.

Muchiri’s wife who was alarmed by her husband’s screams alerted neighbors who came to their rescue. Among the neighbors was one Administration police officer based at the chief’s camp at the area.

On narrating the incident to them the officer admitted to have met his colleague running away from the farm. He also told residents that he had received a call from one of the bar maids at the area alerting him of weird behavior of the officer in question.

He said that the bar maid had told him that his colleague was too drunk and he was causing havoc all over the town. He dismissed the claim and went to sleep only to also be awoken by the incident.

Muchiri who was taken to Narok District hospital but could not be attended to since the hospital had run out of tetanus drugs and any anesthesia to reduce his pain was however stitched without any pain reliever.

Muchiri is now living in fear; he told the media that the assailant might come back and kill him for exposing and embarrassing him.

The officer has since then gone missing.
