Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) took some steps to declare all fake TCRA twitter accounts and issued a serious warning to those who are behind them.

Those fake twitter accounts with handles close to that of official TCRA username example @TcraTanzania and @Tcra pretended to be official TCRA twitter accounts and post unauthorised updates.

Furthermore, the authority took extra step to declare its official twitter handle as @TCRA_Tz and not otherwise. Some of these fake TCRA twitter accounts example @TcraTanzania got suspended by twitter as they are claimed to violate Twitter rule
